March Favourites

16:18

So the wonderful Winter months have ended and we have soon bounced into Spring, but what have been my favourite things through-out March?

Starting off with films and TV shows; I began watching Pretty Little Liars back in 2010 when they played it over on the channel Viva, but they soon stopped airing it there so I could no longer watch it...*sad face*. But, a few months ago I discovered it again on Netflix so I did a major marathon and watched it NON-STOP for about 2 weeks until I had caught up on all 5 seasons, then season 5 ended with the Spring Finale last week which was the Big A Reveal... OH  MY  GOD, DRAMA!
I wont spoil it for any of you but I highly recommend it. Its just one huge mystery that has been on going for the past 5 years and its beginning to unravel, still with another 2 seasons to come, and I literally cannot wait!

Next is a film that I watched this month, The Theory of Everything. I was literally astounded and so inspired by this and I also learnt quite a lot from it too! Its based on Steven Hawking's life starting from when he went to The University of Cambridge up until his adult life, about his battle with motor neurone disease, his former wife and also his children, and his life's work. If you haven't already then you seriously should watch this film, A M A Z I N G!

Moving onto books; Paper Towns by John Green. I started reading this a few weeks ago in bed and I love it! You have probably heard of John Green before, and if not then I'm rather surprised. He is one half of the Vlogbrother's Youtube Channel, the other half being his brother. John is also an author who has had 1 of his books converted into a film, The Fault in out Stars, and soon Paper Towns will be released in Cinemas too!

Next are my favourite Beauty and Hair products of this month and some of my all time favourites too! Starting with skin products, Neutrogena have a skin care range called Visibly Clear which is pink grapefruit scented. I use the Cream Wash and also the Daily Scrub and they are both amazing, I have been using them for a few months now and they are so refreshing on the skin, especially in the morning, brilliant for waking up your skin and they work wonders after a full cleanse too.
After I've washed my face I like to use my Garnier Body Tonic Firming Lotion on my neck and face, another skin care product that is so refreshing and revitalising on your skin. It smells quite citrusy and zesty and my favourite thing about it is the texture, its like a gel formula, and absorbs super fast too, tightening the skin at the same time, it is my holy grail skin product!

Makeup next and first is the Benefit Roller Lash, I cant even explain the quality of this, it elongates my lashes to an extent I have never seen them at before, its not clumpy and the texture of it on the lashes is so lightweight and soft!
Now for a new lip product. I LOVE experimenting with different shades and brands and this month I discovered Maybelline's Colour Sensational lipstick in the shade Sugar Plum 220. Not only does it have a cute name, its silky and a lovely shade, really similar to Rimmel's Moisture Renew in the shade Vintage Pink 180, which I also love. But, Sugar Plum can be built up from a delicate coat to a highly pigmented purple shade.

Last in the Beauty department is hair care, Bed Head's Resurrection shampoo has done my hair wonders! I have had bleached hair for quite a few years and I'm always toning it, so its always been brittle and unhealthy until I started using this. Its just feels so much better.

Next is OSMO Intensive Deep Repair Mask. I have recently started using this once or twice a week after my hairdresser recommended this to me and I cant even describe how my hair feels after using it. It is a God-send... I LOVE IT, it smells divine, feels like heaven on my hair and has repaired it so much. AND ITS ONLY £3.50!!!!!!

My final favourite of this month is Arizona Tea, oh lord. It is one of the yummiest things in the world, and I love green tea anyway so that's always good, the packaging is super pretty too, bonus!

I hope you enjoyed this March Monthly Favourites (Its my first so don't be too mean), If any of you have any requests for what blog posts to do next then let me know!!
